The main objective is to increase energy efficiency through technological renewal of the system for external artificial lighting of the town of Velingrad and improvement of the living conditions of the population.
Specific objectives of the project:
- Reduction of energy consumption of the external artificial lighting system and respectively CO2 emissions by applying the two proposed ESM;
- Creating an effective partnership between the municipal administration Velingrad and the Norwegian partner and exchanging relevant experience and know-howin terms of energy efficiency and innovative management systems.The project aims to optimize the energy consumption of the city system for outdoor street lighting in Velingrad and improve the living conditions of the population.
General goal of the project: increasing the lighting in the city, reducing the consumed electricity and respectively the costs for it.
The project envisages reconstruction and modernization of the municipal infrastructure – systems for outdoor artificial lighting of the town of Velingrad, through the implementation of 2 main energy saving measures (ESM):
ESM 1 consists of delivery and installation of:El. control boards for MA-78 pcs.Dismantling of old luminaires and installation of new LED luminaires – 2,209 pcs.
ESM 2 consists in the introduction of an Intelligent System for automated management, control and monitoring of the MA with included software, hardware and equipment of the control point.
